“The Virtual Expo was a fantastic resource that made exploring future pathways simple and accessible. It gave students and families valuable information and helped spark important conversations about post-school options.”
“One of the best things for regional schools is having access to all of this in one place, as it can often be difficult to travel to the physical university.”
“Loved the pre-filled communications for school newsletter, notices, messages. That was awesome.”
“Great detailed impartial information about each university.”
About the event
What to Study Week runs from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 April 2027. It’s 100+ free online sessions across 16 fields of study, with four fields each day.
Sessions are pre-recorded and released day by day, then stay on demand. Students who register keep access, so the sessions are there whenever they need them, not just during the week.
Every field covers more than uni. Alongside the degree options, each one includes a student panel and a session on non-university pathways.
It’s the first of two free national events for students in 2027:
The programme
Monday 19 April
Tuesday 20 April
Wednesday 21 April
Thursday 22 April
For careers advisers
When a student walks in not knowing where to start, you can point them to the What to Study Week session on the field they’re curious about. The sessions stay useful well beyond the week.
There’s nothing to pass on to students or families yet.
Early in 2027 we’ll send you the details, along with a flyer and template emails, so you’re not building comms from scratch.
